Customer Testimonials

"The most important benefit of PhotoLibrary is easy access by all our staff and students who search for relevant pictures for use in research, publications and on the website. Once categories and keywording have been set up, adding images is very staightforward. We used to have an antiquated analogue archive but we now have a college wide on-line web-based archive."

"PhotoLibrary has helped the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to manage, preserve and increase accessibility to the School's rich image resources. Previously digital images were heldby a number of areas including Audio-visual, the Archive service, academic departments and by individuals. In some instances these were poorly indexed and not accessible to the staff and students of the School or to external users. Installing PhotoLibrary and running a project to add older images held by Audio-visual, images held by the Archives service and current photographs taken by the School photographer has ensured that the School's images are properly managed and will be accessible to School staff, students and external users for the foreseeable future. PhotoLibrary is easy to use and adding images has been quicker than originally estimated. Time has been saved in answering enquiries as users can browse images themselves rather than staff having to search and email a selection of images. It has increased the profile of the Archive service and previously unknown image collections have come to light. Overall, purchasing PhotoLibrary has been a very positive experience."

"The on-line photo library facility has helped us enormously in terms of categorising all of our photographs with relevant details making it so much easier to find images at the touch of a button. We are now able to react so much more quickly to requests from staff and our external customers."

"Before we bought the PhotoLibrary software we had a box of CDs which contained photos from hundreds of different events and photoshoots, along with countless photo files on the various PCs within the communications department. So the PhotoLibrary has allowed us to store all our images in one place and gives the facility to search for images without having to wade through piles of CDs to find the right image! It's been easy to set up and even easier to use. Currently we just use the system within the communications department for publicity material, newsletters and web images but I can see us extending this to suppliers and other staff in the future. The estates and maintenance department is one staff group that could certainly benefit from PhotoLibrary."

"Since we completed the initial set up of the library it has proved to be an invaluable tool. It has enabled our store of photographs to be shared around our campuses resulting in greater variance in our publications. The time saving for our central department is also quite noticeable as people can search for themselves. The rights system has proved useful in ensuring our brand is maintained through suitable monitoring image usage. It is an ongoing project to keep the library maintained but one we deem worthwhile."

"The hosted Logicmighty PhotoLibrary does everything we want it to do. It has been brilliant. What’s always impressed me, and the users, is the simplicity of use. My role as administrator is straightforward and I don’t have to worry about the software. Any member of Tower Hamlets staff with a permanent contract can request a log-in and password to browse and download photos from the PhotoLibrary. I find the permissions feature invaluable where a popup dialogue box warns users that a photo can only be used in the context of the caption. Linking the PhotoLibrary to Tower Hamlets systems and intranet was straightforward. The inevitable technical hitches (these are computers and telephone lines after all!) have been dealt with swiftly and professionally. As far as costs are concerned, having the library hosted externally was cheaper than setting it up ourselves for the first two years, and then we decided to continue with the external hosting to take advantage of the support both in software and hardware."

"Photo legislation was difficult for press office staff to manage in the past but now it is easy. Sharing photos used to take hours and now it takes minutes. In 2005 we purchased a site software license to install the PhotoLibrary on our own server. It is now more cost effective to have the PhotoLibrary externally hosted on Logicmighty’s server."

"From the very beginning, PhotoLibrary has proved fast, simple to use and reasonably inexpensive. 3500 staff spread over 130 locations find images for publications and scientific presentations quickly and easily. We spent days sourcing images before PhotoLibrary was set up. Now we generally find a selection in seconds. There are almost 5500 images in the library and that number is expected to grow to around 10000 in the future."

"We have been using our PhotoLibrary for the past 5 years, and in this time we have seen it grow from something small, to an invaluable resource for both our staff and clients alike. The ease of use and sheer convenience it provides for storing and sharing images is second to none. A great investment."

"We looked at a number of products on the market place, and found Logicmighty’s solution to be the best solution for us in terms of what the software enables us to do, but also in terms of support and customer service. Their flexibility and attention to their customers is excellent and I thank them all for their support. As a system, we have found it easy to use and a delight to work with and have only ever had positive feedback from everyone that uses it."

"Woking have been using the Photo library for the last 4 years to store publicity and marketing photographs by the Marketing Communications team. Woking are now rolling out the system to the rest of the organisation. The planning department are the first to embrace the system and they are finding it a really useful tool due to the fact photos can be categorised and indexed quickly and easily. This indexing system and search tools means they can quickly find photos relating to a particular site or area. The other big benefit of using the system is that it frees up valuable space on our network drives."
